Honda X-ADV 745cc Maxi Scooter: Honda has launched its first ever Maxi scooter in the Indian touring market and its name is Honda X-ADV which comes with a 745cc parallel twin cylinder engine.

This is a dual-purpose off-road type scooter whose looks, design, and style are really impressive.
It is a maxi scooter. The engine is also quite big. Along with that, the electronic features are also very impressive.
So let’s start with its walkaround.
Honda X-ADV Remote Key and Smart Start System
Okay. So first of all, let’s talk about the key. With this you get a remote key which is very simple and sleek and you can see Honda branding on it.
Here you get two buttons. One button is for on/off and the second button is for beep.
Meaning, wherever you have parked it, you can locate it easily.
You just have to press it once and then you will know where exactly you parked it.
So you get a remote key and you just need to keep it in your pocket.
To start the scooter, you come here and there is a push button.
You press the push button like this and then it will start.
Also, after pushing this button towards the left side, the instrument console or ignition will automatically turn off.
Aggressive Front Design and Styling
Now let’s talk about the front. Its styling is really good.
It looks muscular, sporty, aerodynamic, and has an aggressive design and style.
It is extremely aggressive.
From the front, you can see a sleek LED headlight design.

It comes with a 5-inch TFT display fully digital instrument console which looks really premium.
It gets traction control.
Ride-by-wire technology is also available.

It comes with four LED projector headlights.
Two are on the upper side and two are on the lower side.
The upper ones work as the normal low beam.
And the lower ones work as the high beam.

Now talking about the suspension, it comes with separate function big piston upside-down front forks.
These are in golden color and they look really premium.

Adjustable Front Visor
In the front, you get an adjustable visor which can be adjusted manually.

After unlocking, you can adjust it according to your preference.
If wind blast is more, you can set it higher.
And if wind blast is less, you can set it lower and ride comfortably.
And then to lock it again, you lock it from here and it will stay set in its place.
Front Fairing and Premium Finish
The front fairing is very well designed.
It has a sharp and aggressive design.

The tyre brand is Blex Adventure Tour.

The scooter comes with block pattern dual-purpose tyres.

It gets a 292mm front dual disc brake setup.

745cc Parallel Twin Engine Performance
Now talking about the engine, it comes with a 745cc liquid-cooled parallel twin cylinder engine.
It produces 58 PS of power and 69 Nm of maximum torque.
It comes with two transmission options, meaning DCT and manual.
You can ride it with gears as well and you can also ride it normally with DCT.
It also comes with cruise control.

After activating cruise control, you can increase or decrease speed according to your requirement.
Ride Modes and TFT Display Features
If you want to access the modes, the modes button is given here.
As soon as you go inside modes, you will see modes like Sport, Rain, and Gravel.
Gravel mode is for off-roading.
It also gets two user interfaces: User 1 and User 2 along with Standard mode.
The fuel gauge is shown here.
Neutral indicator is here.
RPM meter is available.
High beam and low beam indicator is also given.
Speedometer is here.
And the remaining features of the instrument console can be seen on the side.
Here you also get trip meters and this button helps you operate the instrument console features.
Adjustable Levers and Switchgear Quality
The levers are adjustable.
This is not a clutch lever.
This is also brake, meaning this is the front brake and this is the rear brake.
Both are adjustable type.
You can pull them slightly forward and adjust them.
Talking about the switchgear, the quality is really good.
Here you get the modes button.
This is the high beam/low beam button.
Through this you can operate the instrument console features.
Here is the horn button.
Below you get the turn indicator button.
Here is the cruise control speed set button.
And this button is for the paddle shifter.
Paddle Shifters and Manual Mode Experience
Meaning you can upshift gears using the plus button and downshift using the minus button.

The scooter starts very silently.
The exhaust finishing is very good.
At idle it is very silent.
But let’s rev it a little.The exhaust note is really amazing.
It is dangerous.

Here you get two more buttons.
This is the fuel button and this is the seat button.
If you press the fuel button, it will open from here, meaning you can fill fuel.
The fuel cap will open and the button works very smoothly.
This is the seat button.
If you press the seat button, the seat will open.
The boot space is also decent.
A small helmet can fit inside and some small luggage can fit too.
But too much luggage will not fit.
Seat Comfort and Practicality
Talking about seat cushioning, the rider seat cushioning is very good.
The pillion seat also has good space.
Here you get the X-ADV badging.
You can ride it comfortably.
Here you get piano black finishing.
Foot Peg Positions and Touring Comfort
It also offers two foot peg positions.
You can keep your feet here or here.
Meaning if you want relaxed riding you can keep them here.

It gets both side stand and middle stand.

It comes with a sleek LED tail light design.

The rear fender is not very big and not bulky.

It also has traction control and dual channel ABS.

Now talking about the price, in Delhi its ex-showroom price is ₹11,91,000 and the on-road price is around ₹13 lakh.
Dimensions, Weight and Mileage
Now talking about dimensions, its ground clearance is 765 mm and seat height is 820 mm.
So the seat height is a little high.
If your height is less then you may not be able to ride it comfortably.
The weight is 237 kg.
It is quite heavy.
It is a heavy scooter.
The fuel tank capacity is 13.2 liters.
Mileage will be around 20 to 25 km per liter.
But according to the segment, the ground clearance is really good.
It has an adjustable visor and spoke wheels.
So you can easily do off-roading with it.
