Honda XL750 Transalp:Powerful Adventure Bike Review – Stunning Features, Specs, Ride Modes & Price

Honda XL750 Transalp: I have turned the ignition ON, and just after switching it ON you will notice a few things. For example, the indicators are ON in standby mode. They are neither blinking nor turning off. This is actually a safety feature. When you are riding, the indicators blink, and it helps the vehicles in front and behind to notice the bike easily. This feature is already available in CB300R and other Honda bikes as well. Honda revealed this feature a few months ago during the unveiling of their cafe racer and other variants.

Windshield and Front Styling

Here you get a large windshield, which looks quite big. But one thing you will notice is that it is not adjustable. However, if you go for accessories, you can buy an even bigger windshield as an additional accessory part. Right now, this windshield comes in a fixed position and cannot be adjusted further.

You will notice a single exhaust, but you might think it is a single-cylinder bike. Actually, this bike has two cylinders at the front, which later convert into one exhaust system. The sound will be very good because twin-cylinder bikes have this benefit. Vibrations are controlled, reliability is strong, and you will enjoy the premium feel.

Foot Pegs and Riding Comfort

Here you get the rear brake pedal and foot peg. The seat is very comfortable and fully padded till the front. This means you will get very comfortable rides. The rear seat is not as high as the front seat. So if you want to seat a pillion, the pillion can ride easily. This bike is mainly designed for both rider and pillion so that both can enjoy a comfortable ride.

Pillion Comfort and Grab Rail Setup

The front seat height is 850mm, and the rear seat is slightly higher but not too much. The pillion will get next level comfort. Behind, you get a strong grab rail setup where you can do many fitments like installing a top box or side bags. All mounting options are available here.

Rear Tyre, Suspension and Wheel Details

The exhaust is a dual barrel exhaust and the exhaust sound is also very strong. The rear tyre is a 150 section. The exact size is 150/70 R18. So at the back you get an 18-inch wheel. You also get a monoshock suspension which will provide a very comfortable ride. Again, the rear wheel is also a spoke wheel setup.

Chain, Side Stand and Overall Build

Here you can access the seat. The chain frame is visible here and the side stand is also present. Overall, all the necessary things required in a bike are provided in this model. Apart from that, there are many more features in this bike which I will explain.

6-Speed Gearbox and Gear Shifter Design

You get a 6-speed gearbox in this bike. The foot peg design is very different compared to normal bikes. In normal bikes, you see this part below, but in this bike it is placed upwards. This design helps in giving better gear shifting.

It feels like a lion roar. When you take this bike into mountains, it produces a different kind of sound and rides aggressively.

Ground Clearance

The seat height is 850mm which I already told you. Now talking about ground clearance, you get 210mm ground clearance. This is enough for every terrain and Indian road conditions. 210mm is not low. Nowadays even off-road 4×4 vehicles have around 210mm. So for a bike, this is a very good ground clearance.

Now the main thing is the pricing. The on-road price in Gurgaon is around ₹12.5 lakh. The ex-showroom price is close to ₹11 lakh. Overall, you can expect around ₹12.5 lakh on-road price.
