It is a bike that comes in the adventure touring category in which you can also do off-road riding. If you want to ride in the city, you can also drive it in the city. Along with that, if you want to enjoy touring, then you can also do touring with this Honda NX 200.
If we talk about the design, then you get a very aspirational design in this Honda NX 200. You get a very adventurous look with this NX 200. So today we will talk about the details and the specifications and the features about this Honda NX 200 – what power does it produce, what features do you get, what mileage can you expect with this Honda NX 200. So without wasting any further time, let us go straight to the Honda NX 200.
Positioning and Segment
So above the NX 200 comes the NX 500. So here the NX 500 comes at a slightly expensive price point. But if you want to start your adventure journey, then this can be a better bike for you for the initial stage. Here the NX 200 comes with a normal decent pricing.
Front Design and Styling

Let us talk about the front look of the bike. So here you get a complete visor in glossy black with the Honda badging in the front. Here you get the number plate section and here you get a fiber material front mudguard.
Lighting Setup
Along with that here you get LED DRLs and LED reflector based front headlamps, meaning the upper and dipper you get in LED reflector based setup.
Tyres and Brakes

Talking about the tyres. So here you get off-roading tyres and you get complete grip with these tyres.
If we talk about the tyre section, so here you get 17 inches alloy size. You get a complete 17 inch alloy size. And in the front you get a petal disc which is used with Nissin calipers.
So the petal disc controls the heat very well and provides you a very good braking experience. Along with that you get dual channel ABS. You get a 276 mm complete disc size in the front and in the rear you get a 220 mm petal disc with Nissin calipers.
Suspension Setup
Here you get USD front suspension. So here you get a suspension diameter of 41 mm, I think you get the suspension diameter here. You get a complete golden insert at the front.
Side Profile and Aerodynamics
If we talk from the side, here you get a part provided for air ventilation with Honda badging and the side profiling looks like this of the Honda NX 200.
Handlebar and Riding Posture
Now let us talk about the handlebar. So the handlebar is kept in a slightly upright positioning so that you get a good off-road feel and you sit in an upright position on the bike.
So the handlebar is on the upper side and as compared to the Hornet, here you have to ride in a slightly upright position. Whereas in the Hornet you get a leaning riding stance.
Knuckle Guards and Safety

Now let us talk about the front section. So here you get by default knuckle guards with LED indicators mounted. So here you get complete wrist protection and knuckle guards with indicator mounted. This gives a more adventurous feel and increases the styling even more.
Here you get traction control with the updated Honda NX 200 which was missing in the Honda CB 200X. The old variant was CB 200X and there traction control was missing.
Engine Area and Side Profile
So here you get an OBD 2B compliant engine for which you get oxygen sensors. The new oxyge

n sensor is installed here and the old sensor is placed above. To guard the engine you get an engine guard. This is not a metal part, it is a normal plastic fiber part.
The side profiling looks good. Here you get a half fairing look. The engine part remains open and you get NX badging and 200 graphics on the side.
Colour Options
Here you get three color options with the Honda NX 200. This one is Pearl Igneous Black. You also get Radiant Red Metallic and Athletic Blue Metallic. So total three color options you get with the Honda NX 200.
Rear Section Design
Now let us talk about the rear section. So here you get twin grab rails. You get grab rails provided here and you get split seats. The pillion riding comfort is not very good because you get a little small space, but the rider position will be quite comfortable.
Here you get the same Y-shaped LED tail lamp which you get in the Honda Hornet. The rear mudguard is exactly the same as the Honda Hornet 2.0. You get LED indicators with hazard function, reflectors and number plate section.
Again at the rear you get off-road tyres. You get MRF Zapper tyres here and a 220 mm disc size. The rear look is something like this. The seats are exactly the same as the Hornet 2.0.
Fuel Tank and Key Area
If we talk about the tank size and meter, the tank looks quite huge but the fuel tank capacity is 12 liters. The key insert area is mounted on the side and you do not get any wave key, you get a normal basic key with this Honda NX 200.
Instrument Cluster and Connectivity

Now let us talk about the instrument cluster. Here you get a 4.2 inches TFT display unit. This is the same instrument cluster which you get in the Honda Activa top model and Honda SP 125 disc top model.
Here you get traction control, eco mode and power mode. You get gear indication, speedometer, Bluetooth and turn by turn navigation. You can easily access Bluetooth technology and turn by turn navigation.
You can scroll information, check range, go into settings and adjust traction control. In display settings you can adjust display type, brightness and theme. You get light, dark and auto themes.
Controls and Charging
You get MID controllers, good quality switches, straight handlebar, and a Type-C charging port so you can easily charge your iPhone or Android phones.
You get ignition button, start stop button, hazard switch, pass lamp switch, indicator switches and horn switch. The horn sound is decent.
Footpegs, Chain and Gearbox
You get a complete saree guard with fiber and metal parts. You get aluminum cast footpegs with teeth design.
For the chain pocket you should keep it loose and clean it with diesel or chain cleaner. You get an O-ring type chain sprocket which is lubricated and does not catch dust quickly.
You get a high speed gearbox with one down and four up. You also get assist and slipper clutch with this Honda NX 200.
Engine Specifications
Now let us talk about the engine specifications of this Honda NX 200. Here you get a 184.4 cc air cooled engine. At this price point at least an oil cooler should have been provided by the company.
If we talk about the power figures, this produces 17 horsepower and 15.7 Newton meters of torque.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
Now let us talk about the seating stance, riding comfort, ground clearance and kerb weight of this Honda NX 200. Here you get a complete 168 mm of ground clearance. This bike weighs 148 kg and the seat height is 810 mm.
Exhaust Note and Riding Experience

If we talk about the average, you can easily expect around 42 kmpl from this bike. The average completely depends on how you ride the motorcycle and your environmental conditions.
This bike costs ₹2,25,000 on road. It comes at a slightly higher price point because of which you get fewer features.
Pros and Cons
The disadvantage of this bike is that at this price point you should get an oil cooler, but here you get an air cooled engine. And it comes at a slightly higher price point.
