Hello friends! Welcome back to another exciting review. Today we present to you the premium hatchback from Tata Motors — the all-new Tata Altroz Creative 2025 CNG variant.
After the new GST revision, the Altroz has become even more affordable, and in this post, we’ll cover all the details — design, features, engine, comfort, safety, and the new on-road pricing after GST.
Price Drop After New GST: How Much You Save Now
After the new GST update, the price of the Altroz has dropped significantly. Compared to the previous pricing, you now save around ₹15,000 to ₹11,000, depending on the variant.
Earlier, the base model started at ₹6,80,000, but now the starting price has come down to ₹6,50,000 (ex-showroom). This makes the Tata Altroz an even more value-for-money premium hatchback in its segment.
Warranty coverage remains the same — 3 years or 1 lakh km, which you can extend further at a nominal charge.
Exterior Overview: Stylish, Sporty, and Solid

From the front, the new Altroz looks sportier and sharper than ever. You get:
LED automatic headlamps
Rain-sensing wipers

Digital instrument cluster
New steering wheel design
Ambient lighting
Smart key with keyless entry
At the center of the front fascia sits the Tata logo, and below it, you’ll notice a 360-degree camera placement — a segment-first feature for this category.
The black front grille, LED headlamp setup, and dual-function DRLs (that also act as indicators) enhance its aggressive look.
Although fog lamps are not offered in this Creative CNG variant, you do get proper fog lamp housing if you wish to install them later.
The ground clearance stands at around 165 mm, which is sufficient for Indian road conditions.
Side Profile and Design Enhancements
The side profile of the Altroz gives it a strong and dynamic stance. This facelifted version brings several design updates across the front, rear, and interior.
You also get:
Stylish steel rims that resemble alloy wheels

185/60 R16 tyres
Front disc brakes
Auto-folding ORVMs that fold/unfold with lock and unlock
360-degree camera mounted on the ORVMs
Matte black finish on B-pillars
Flush door handles with illumination (introduced in the facelift)
Rear Profile and Boot Space

At the rear, the car looks bold with LED taillights, though the connected light bar is reserved for higher variants. You get:
Rear wiper with washer and defogger

High-mounted stop lamp
Tata and Altroz badging
CNG and “Vocal for Local” stickers
Dual rear reflectors
Reverse parking sensors
Rear camera integrated neatly under the logo
The spare wheel (stepney) is provided — a feature missing in many CNG cars of this segment.
However, since this is a CNG variant, the boot space has been reduced from 345 liters to around 200 liters, depending on the CNG cylinder placement. You still get a parcel tray, boot lamp, hooks, and 100% foldable rear seats.
Dimensions
Length: 3990 mm
Width: 1755 mm
Height: 1523 mm
Wheelbase: 2501 mm
The Altroz competes with cars like the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno, but stands apart with its 5-star GNCAP safety rating and superior build quality, something that its rivals can’t match.
Interior: Premium, Spacious & Tech-Loaded

The moment you open the 90° wide-opening doors, you’ll appreciate the easy ingress and egress — something unique in this segment.
Inside, you’ll find:
Fabric seats with enhanced thigh support
Power windows on all doors
Tweeeters and speakers on each door

Bottle holders and umbrella holders
Dual-tone dashboard with soft-touch accents
Adjustable driver seat (height + recline)
In the rear cabin, you get AC vents, a 65W Type-C USB port, and ample legroom and headroom. The seats provide great comfort, and the rear armrest includes cupholders.
Child seat mounts (ISOFIX) and three-point seatbelts for all passengers ensure maximum safety. The flat floor design makes it easy for three adults to sit comfortably.
Smart Key & Entry System
The Altroz Creative CNG variant comes with a smart key that includes:
Lock/unlock buttons
Follow-me-home headlamp feature
Illuminated flush door handles
You can simply walk near the car to unlock it, making it feel premium and futuristic.
Dashboard & Infotainment System
Inside, the highlight is the new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (upgraded from the older 7-inch unit).
Key features include:
Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

USB, AUX, and Bluetooth connectivity
360-degree camera display
Ambient “Moonlight” lighting customization
Automatic climate control
Switch between petrol and CNG modes with a button
12V power outlet, USB-A, and USB-C ports (fast charging supported)
The 360-degree camera offers exceptional clarity — among the best in its class.
The manual 5-speed gearbox is smooth and refined, complemented by a sliding armrest and a deep glove box with tablet holder and lighting.
You also get dual airbags, while this Creative variant adds up to six airbags for full safety coverage.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Tata Altroz Creative CNG comes with a 1.2L Revotron 3-cylinder petrol engine.
Petrol mode: 85 PS power & 115 Nm torque
CNG mode: 72 PS power & 103 Nm torque
Claimed mileage:
18–19 km/l (petrol)
Up to 26 km/kg (CNG)
This makes it the only premium hatchback in its segment to offer petrol, diesel, and CNG options — something that neither the i20 nor the Baleno provide.
Under the bonnet, you’ll also notice proper insulation, a well-built engine cover, and a robust design reflecting Tata’s strong build philosophy.
Safety Features
Safety has always been a top priority for Tata, and the Altroz continues that legacy. You get:
ABS with EBD
Six airbags
ESP (Electronic Stability Program)
Rear parking sensors & camera
Speed alert system
Seat belt reminder
Crash sensors
Automatic headlamps
Rain-sensing wipers
Immobilizer
The 5-star Global NCAP rating makes it the safest car in its class — ahead of rivals like Baleno and i20.
Final Price Breakdown (After New GST)
Earlier, the Tata Altroz Creative CNG variant cost ₹9,99,990 (ex-showroom).
After the ₹15,010 GST benefit, the new ex-showroom price stands at ₹8,95,690.
On-road pricing comes to approximately ₹10,61,570 (depending on state and registration).
So overall, you save around ₹15,000 on this particular variant after the GST revision.
Verdict: The Perfect Premium Hatchback Choice
The Tata Altroz Creative 2025 CNG variant combines style, safety, technology, and efficiency — all in one premium hatchback package.
It not only looks sporty but also offers class-leading safety, strong mileage, and the option to run on both petrol and CNG, making it an ideal choice for city as well as highway driving.
If you’re considering a premium hatchback under ₹11 lakh, the Altroz Creative CNG is undoubtedly the most balanced and value-packed option available today.
