Honda Activa 110 :This scooter has been in the Indian market for 26 years and has been selling continuously since then.

So friends, today we have with us the all-new updated Honda Activa 110cc. Honestly, I haven’t brought many videos about this scooter on my channel because Honda hadn’t introduced any major updates in the Activa for years. But looking at the competitors, Honda has evolved a little this time. There are some updates in it. I brought the latest
model because my friend recently purchased it. So I thought why not create a genuine ride experience, just like our “Should You Buy” series. In this, we won’t just ride this product, but we will also compare it with all its competitors like Jupiter, Access, and Destiny. In the year 2025, will this be the best choice for you or not? If you are considering it from a family perspective, how is the scooter? We will discuss everything. We will also talk about the pros and cons. If you are planning to buy any scooter and watch this ride review till the end, I can say your doubts will definitely be cleared.
Variants & Key Updates
Digital Cluster & Features

The biggest update that came in this scooter is the digital cluster. However, this is the Deluxe variant. You get three variants: Standard, Deluxe, and above that an H-Smart variant which offers Bluetooth connectivity and keyless entry features. This one is the most value-for-money variant. You also get a joystick similar to Activa 125. A charging port has been added along with a glove box. The design remains the same because the company knows that if they make major design changes or upgrade the looks, the legacy will be affected.
Silent Start & Auto Start-Stop

Now you get a silent start feature and auto start-stop technology. I will also tell you how it works and how useful it is.
After stopping for a few seconds, the scooter turns off automatically, and as soon as you give throttle, it starts again. I really liked this feature.

Engine & Performance
Engine Specifications

It gets a 109.5cc air-cooled engine that produces almost 8 PS of power and 9.05 Nm of torque. Compared to Access and Destiny, obviously it offers less power. Even if you compare it with Jupiter 113cc, this one has lower power figures because this is not a power-oriented engine. It is mainly designed to provide sufficient power for daily commuting.
Real Ride Experience

Let’s try doing 0 to 100. The digital cluster allows you to adjust brightness through the joystick. At 70–80 km/h, you don’t feel any stress in the engine. Even beyond 80, you don’t feel vibrations. Earlier, if I took the old Activa beyond 80 km/h, vibrations were noticeable. But in this one, even up to 90 km/h, vibrations are not felt. That is something I really liked.
If we talk about daily up-and-down usage, at 70–80 km/h it runs very refined. You don’t need to keep any doubts in your mind regarding vibrations.
Ground Clearance & Braking

It offers 162 mm of ground clearance. Even on big speed breakers, it clears easily.
It comes with a combi-braking system and telescopic suspension at the front. Braking performance is quite good. Earlier, when telescopic suspension was not available, hard braking would make the front tire behave differently. But now, after the telescopic suspension update, braking feels more stable.
Mileage

Talking about mileage, almost all scooters in this segment deliver similar figures. In city conditions, you can expect 40–45 km/l. On highways, if you ride economically, it can even deliver 50–55 km/l. It depends on individual riding style.
Seat Height & Comfort

The biggest advantage of this scooter is its weight and seat height. It weighs 106 kg, and it has the lowest seat height in the segment at just 765 mm. If you have female riders at home—your wife, sister, or daughter—it will be very easy for them to ride. Along with the seat height advantage, the gap between the handlebar and lever is also less. Riders with small hands can easily manage it.

Activa vs Jupiter – Practical Comparison
In 110cc, if we compare this mainly with Jupiter, the biggest difference comes in practicality. In Activa, the fuel lid is at the rear, while in Jupiter, you get it at the front. Activa has a smaller seat, whereas Jupiter offers a longer seat and the largest boot space in the segment. You can fit two half-face helmets inside Jupiter. Even in terms of looks, Jupiter 113cc feels more advanced.
But why do people still buy Activa? Because it has become a myth that if you want a scooter for 10–15 years, you should buy Activa. People believe they just need to put petrol and ride. But that mentality needs to change because times have evolved. The era of keeping a scooter for 15–20 years is fading. EV trends are coming in, and people are upgrading vehicles frequently.
Activa vs Access & Destiny
If you want more power in this segment, you can consider Destiny. Hero has improved its sales again with the new Destiny. It offers good mileage and a 125cc engine, but the price is slightly higher.
Access also offers a peppy engine, and riding it feels fun. However, in long-term reliability, Jupiter and Activa feel stronger compared to Access.
Long-Term Reliability & Legacy
If you place a 10-year-old Activa next to this new one, you won’t notice much difference. That is because the company has not made major changes over the years. And that is also one of the biggest reasons behind its sales. The company knows that the scooter is selling well, so they didn’t upgrade it aggressively.
Activa is not just a scooter; it has become a brand in itself. Just like Honda Shine or Honda SP sells in huge numbers, the same scene is with Activa.
Final Verdict

No doubt, you can buy Activa with closed eyes because it carries strong trust and brand value. If you want a refined engine, no extra features, just want to put petrol and travel from point A to point B, especially for family use and female riders, then you can go for this scooter.
But if you are young and want a sporty scooter with better acceleration, more features, bigger boot space, and front fuel filling, then you should definitely test ride Jupiter 113cc. It offers better practicality and feels more modern.
If you have already made up your mind to buy Activa, then go ahead. It is a reliable long-term choice. But I would still suggest you take a test ride of Jupiter before making the final decision.
I hope this detailed comparison makes it easier for you to decide. If you still have doubts, feel free to ask. Like the post and stay connected for more interesting content.
