The Taigun has been divided into two main lines — the Dynamic Line and the Performance Line.

With the Dynamic Line, you will get the 1.0L engine, and with the Performance Line, you will get the 1.5L engine.

Further, you will find different variants under these lines.

In the Dynamic Line, you will get Comfortline, which is the starting base variant, then Highline, Highline Plus, GT Line, and the top variant Topline.

Similarly, with the Performance Line, you will get GT Plus variants — where you have GT Plus Chrome and GT Plus Sport.

You will notice some exterior differences between these trims.

Now, let’s talk about the color options.

With this basic variant, you will get five color options.

 

Exterior Details

Front Profile

Starting from the front — you’ll get two keys with this car.

On one side, there’s the VW logo, and on the other side, you get controls for lock, unlock, and boot unlock.

Overall front looks are impressive.

The engine hood design and the front part both enhance the car’s overall appeal.

The overall width of the car is 1760 mm.

When you look at the front grille, the upper part gets chrome treatment, and below that, you’ll find black finish inserts.

The center houses the VW logo.

Now, talking about the headlight setup — it’s a large headlamp unit with chrome detailing.

You’ll get regular halogen bulbs, which are reflector-based.

Here are turn indicators and DRLs.

The surrounding parts are finished in glossy black, along with some chrome treatment.

The chin guard gets a silver treatment, while the rest of the bumper features a gloss black finish.

Overall, from the front, the looks are bold and modern.

 

Side Profile

When viewed from the side, the car fits perfectly into the compact SUV segment with its overall length of 4211 mm.

The tyre size here is 16-inch steel rims with 205 section tyres.

You also get wheel covers.

At the front, disc brakes are provided.

All around, you’ll find black cladding.

The ORVMs are body-colored, electrically adjustable, but manually foldable, and they include turn blinkers.

Door handles are body-colored, while the B-pillar gets black treatment.

On the top, you get metal roof rails, giving it a rugged SUV look.

Overall, the side profile looks well-proportioned and stylish.

 

Rear Profile

Now, let’s move to the rear.

From the top, you get a regular antenna and a roof spoiler with a high-mount stop lamp.

On the rear windshield, there is no wiper, washer, or defogger in this base variant.

You’ll get tail lamps with LED elements for the main part, along with turn indicators and reverse lights.

There are three parking sensors provided for reverse assistance.

The Taigun badge appears at the center, and on one side, you’ll see TSI badging.

The lower part of the bumper gets matte black and silver treatment, plus chrome detailing and reflectors.

You can open the boot either using the key or the physical button.

The boot space is 385 liters, quite good for a compact SUV.

However, the load lip is a bit high, so placing or removing luggage requires a bit of effort.

Inside the boot, you’ll get a spare wheel, tool kit, and hooks on both sides.

A boot lamp is also provided, even in the base variant.

However, there’s no parcel shelf.

Rear seats can be folded down, and you get a handle to close the boot.

 

Interior and Comfort

Rear Seats

Once you step inside and sit in the rear seat, the seats feel very comfortable.

The thigh support is decent, legroom and knee room are good, thanks to the 2651 mm wheelbase.

Headroom is also sufficient.

You’ll get three adjustable headrests and three 3-point seat belts for passengers.

However, there is no rear armrest.

Roof handles and hooks are provided.

From the base variant itself, rear AC vents are available — though there are no charging ports here.

The seat fabric quality is good, with decent cushioning.

No seatback pockets are provided, and seatbelts are fixed in place.

Overall, rear-seat comfort is impressive, and the recline angle is comfortable enough — though a slightly more recline would have been even better.

 

Driver’s Area

When you open the driver-side door, you’ll notice a dual-tone door trim.

You get all four power window controls, mirror adjustment switches, and central locking buttons.

The driver’s seat is 6-way manually adjustable — available from the base variant itself.

You’ll find headlight controls, headlight height adjustment, and a tilt-telescopic steering wheel.

The steering is a D-cut design with multimedia controls on the left and instrument cluster controls on the right.

 

Instrument Cluster and Infotainment

Once you start the ignition, the engine feels smooth.

Even though it’s a 3-cylinder engine, there’s almost no cabin vibration or noise.

The instrument cluster includes an RPM meter, engine temperature gauge, speedometer, fuel gauge, and a multi-information display (MID) showing all necessary driving information.

At the center, there’s a 6-inch infotainment system supporting wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via USB-A port.

You can control volume and other functions from the same unit.

Below that, you’ll see manual AC controls with solid-quality buttons.

Features like TPMS, hazard light switch, traction control, and idle start/stop buttons are available.

There’s a mobile storage space, a 12V socket, and a 6-speed manual gearbox in this variant.

You also get cup holders, a sliding armrest with fabric finish, and a gloss black handbrake.

The dashboard is made of hard plastic, but fit and finish are excellent.

The lower section features a lighter glossy shade, and the glove box offers good storage space.

On the top, the co-driver side gets a vanity mirror, the driver side has a ticket holder, and a manual day-night IRVM is also provided.
