Now see the key quickly. You can see that no very premium key is provided. A basic key is given. According to commuters, a basic key like this will come. Honda branding and logo are given on both sides. And this comes with a few simple keys along with it. So it is a basic key.
What Is New in the 25th Anniversary Edition
Now I will tell you what has changed in the 25th Anniversary Edition and what is different. The first thing is the new paint scheme. And if you see this paint scheme carefully, you will understand that this is a matte color which is such a dark grey that it looks almost black. So this black-like matte color is available. It has a slightly different tone.
The graphics have also been changed. The design of the graphics is not changed, but the color of the graphics has been changed. Here you can see that the graphics are in silver and slightly golden color. The rest of the paint scheme is matte. Honda branding logo is clearly visible. SP125 branding is given, ESP sticker is there, and under the seat cowl also these graphics are present.
Front Design and Lighting

Price and Variants
Now see what Honda has done in the anniversary edition. They have increased the price by ₹1000. This is the top trim model and it is based on the disc variant. Earlier there were two variants, drum and disc. This anniversary edition comes only in the disc variant.
You get a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Combined braking system is provided. Honda has still not given ABS. Nissin caliper is provided at the front. Single caliper from Nissin.
Tyres, Wheels and Size

The tyres are from MRF and they are tubeless. One very good thing about this motorcycle is its wheel size. You get 18-inch wheels at the front and 18-inch wheels at the rear. Because of this, riding over potholes becomes easier.
The alloy wheels are given in a different color with this paint scheme. It has a bronze or golden-like finish. The front tyre is 80/18 section. The tyres are not very wide. At the rear, you get 100/80-18 section tyre. It feels slightly thin and ideally 110 mm could have been better.
Overall Size and Road Presence
For a 125cc motorcycle, if you look at it from a commuter point of view, the motorcycle looks decently big. It does not look very small. Whether you look at the tank area or the rear section, the motorcycle feels well proportioned.
Engine and Performance Details
Now let us talk about the engine. You get a 125cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine. You get both kick start and self start. Power output is 10.7 bhp and torque is 10.9 Nm. The engine comes in a black finish with Honda branding.
This is the same engine that is used in the Hornet 125, but the tuning is different. The exhaust has a chrome plate which adds a slightly premium look.
Suspension, Brakes and Hardware

The crash guard is an accessory and does not come as standard. The indicators are bulb type with transparent covers. The motorcycle looks youthful and not boring. It does not feel too basic like the Shine 125.
The front suspension is telescopic and the rear gets dual hydraulic shocks with adjustable preload. At the rear, the suspension is slightly on the stiffer side. This gives better stability at higher speeds but the pillion feels bumps more.
Seat, Comfort and Ergonomics

The seat is wide and long. Both rider and pillion can sit comfortably. The seat is flat and bench-like, making it good for family use. Seat height is around 790 mm which is very accessible. Riders with height around 5 feet 4 or 5 feet 5 can ride comfortably.
Ground clearance is 160 mm which is decent. The motorcycle weighs 116 kg, making it light and easy to handle.
Instrument Cluster and Features

You get a 4.2-inch TFT display in this top variant. It shows speed, RPM, gear position, clock, average mileage, trip A and trip B. You can toggle through different screens.
You also get Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation, call and message notifications, phone battery status, service reminders and software information.
A USB Type-C charging port is also provided.
Ride Experience and Handling
The riding posture is very comfortable. The handlebar is wide and slightly raised. Footpegs are placed in a commuter-friendly position. Initial pickup is quite good till around 4000 RPM.
The engine is extremely smooth. Vibrations are almost negligible at lower RPMs. At higher RPMs, mild vibrations can be felt on the tank and footpegs.
The mid-range performance is linear. For highway overtakes at 60–65 kmph, you will need to downshift from fifth to fourth gear.
Braking Performance
The rear drum brake is decent. The front disc brake has good stopping power, although the initial bite feels slightly delayed. Once it starts braking, it offers good confidence.
There is no ABS, but combined braking system is present.
Mileage and Practicality
The fuel tank capacity is 11 liters. Mileage of around 55–60 kmpl can be expected easily. This gives a good riding range.
The five-speed gearbox works smoothly and clutch is moderately light. The motorcycle feels light but stable at the same time.
Pricing Details
The base model costs around ₹93,000 ex-showroom. The normal disc variant costs around ₹1,01,000. The 25th Anniversary Edition is priced around ₹1,02,000 ex-showroom. On-road price comes close to ₹1.20 lakh.
