In the frame today we have with us the all new 2026 Hero HF DELX Pro variant. Now HF DELX is the most affordable bike coming from Hero which starts at just ₹58,000. But this is the Pro variant which comes with many unique features. ₹67,000 is the ex-showroom price of this bike.
We will see what features it gets and how it becomes different from the normal HF DELX. Because from Hero you also get options like Passion, HF DEX and Splendor. One more strong competition stands there with the Platina 100. If you say then I will also bring a comparison with it. For now, let’s start today’s quick review and explore all its features in detail of Hero HF Deluxe Pro.
Key Highlights of 2026 Hero HF Deluxe Pro
- 97.2cc single cylinder air cooled engine
- 8 PS power and 8.05 Nm torque
- Digital instrument cluster
- LED headlamp with DRLs
- i3S fuel saving technology
- Claimed mileage around 70 km/l
- 112 kg lightweight design
- 9.6 L fuel tank
Simple Design with Multiple Color Options
Now let’s start our walkaround. First check out the keys. A small simple key with Hero branding and it feels very lightweight. There are four color options available in Hero HF Deluxe Pro. The base color is black which remains the same in all variants and the stripes come in different colors like red, yellow, blue and grey. Basically you get four color options.
The bike looks very simple and sober. It is a practical commuter motorcycle that suits everyday riders and family use as well.
LED Headlamp and DRL Setup

Now see what is the biggest difference in Hero HF Deluxe Pro. In the normal HF DELX variants you get halogen headlight. But here you get LED DRLs and LED headlamp. The LED headlamp works with both high beam and low beam. Visibility is quite bright and even in daytime it looks powerful, so at night it will provide excellent visibility.
It also gets i3S technology so the bike automatically shuts off when idle which helps in saving fuel. Talking about turn signals, you get halogen indicators but the outer plastic cover is white which makes them look better. The indicators are flexible so even if they bend there is less chance of breaking.
Front Suspension, Tyres and Braking Setup
Moving towards the front side you get telescopic suspension. Reflectors are provided on both sides for safety. The bike gets black alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The tyre size is 80/100 section which means 80/100 R18 tyres.
Whether you take the base model or the top model, you get the same drum brake setup. Both front and rear get 130 mm drum brakes. It is a basic braking system but considering the power of this bike, disc brake is not really necessary.
Side Profile and Engine Performance

Looking at the side profile, the bike appears simple and practical. It can easily carry your family comfortably. The engine is the same engine that you get in Splendor and Passion.
It is a 97.2cc single cylinder four stroke air cooled engine. It produces 8 PS power and 8.05 Nm torque. The engine is very refined and reliable. When it comes to mileage, the company claims around 70 km per litre and realistically you can expect around 60 to 65 km per litre.
The bike comes with both self start and kick start options. So if your battery is dead or during winters when bikes sometimes struggle to start, you can easily start it with the kick.
Fuel Tank and Fuel Injection Technology
The bike comes with programmed fuel injection technology. The fuel tank capacity is 9.6 litres and it comes with Hero branding on the metal tank.
One negative point is that if very little petrol is left in the tank, the bike may not start. Around 1.5 to 2 litres of fuel is required because the fuel injector is placed slightly higher.
Build Quality and Durability
The panels, leg guard and mudguard used in the bike are strong and there is very little chance of fading or rusting. According to Indian road conditions the ground clearance is sufficient.
The bike comes with a four speed gearbox. HF DELX Pro branding is visible on the side panel along with i3S branding. Graphics include white, silver and grey stripe combinations.
Rear Suspension, Exhaust and Tyres
At the rear you get twin shock absorbers. Just like the front tyres, the rear tyres are also 80/100 R18 size. JK Tyres are used in this bike which are decent for daily riding.
The exhaust comes with chrome plating and the build quality feels solid. Even after many years there is very little chance of rust issues.
Rear Design and Practical Features

From the rear side the bike looks simple and sober. The company has not made major changes in the rear profile over the years. It gets a halogen tail lamp and halogen turn signals.
A black grab rail is provided which looks good on the black color variant. The chain set is fully covered which reduces maintenance and protects it from mud and water. The bike also gets a saree guard for pillion safety.
Seat Height, Weight and Comfort
One of the biggest advantages of this bike is its lightweight design. The seat height is 805 mm which makes it comfortable even for riders with shorter height. Riders around 5.2 or 5.3 feet can easily ride this bike and keep both feet flat on the ground.
The bike weighs only 112 kg which makes it extremely easy to handle. Even if the bike tilts slightly in the city you can easily lift it with one hand. This makes it very practical for city riding and family use.
The ground clearance is 165 mm which is sufficient for Indian roads.
Handlebar, Mirrors and Riding Position
The handlebar is wide and upright which gives a very comfortable riding posture. The mirrors are simple but functional and do not create vibration issues even at higher speeds.
The clutch is very light and can be easily pressed with your hands. Even in city traffic gear shifting feels smooth and comfortable.
Digital Instrument Cluster and Features
One of the biggest upgrades in the Pro variant is the fully digital instrument cluster. Earlier the base model used to get an analog cluster but this version gets a digital display.
The cluster shows odometer, fuel gauge, engine malfunction light, low fuel indication, side stand alert and i3S technology indicators. You can also control high beam and low beam from the handle switches.
The bike supports E20 fuel which means it can run on ethanol blended petrol without any issue.
Verdict – Should You Buy Hero HF Deluxe Pro?
This was the quick review of the all new 2026 Hero HF DELUXE Pro variant. In the Pro variant you get extra features like digital instrument cluster, LED headlamp and LED DRLs.
If you can spend a little more money, choosing the Pro variant makes sense because it offers modern features and looks better with the digital cluster.
Its main competition comes from the Platina series and other commuter bikes. However Hero bikes are known in the Indian market for reliability and strong after sales service.
Some bikes may offer slightly higher mileage or more ground clearance, but when it comes to long term reliability and resale value, Hero HF Deluxe continues to remain a trusted choice in the Indian market.
